Runaway Indian train speeds past station without driver


Footage exhibits a freight prepare and not using a driver on board dashing by means of a station in northern India.

Indian Railways has ordered an investigation after the unmanned prepare, which was on its solution to Punjab from Jammu, travelled greater than 70km (43.4 miles).

“The prepare was stopped after a railway official positioned wooden blocks on the tracks to cease the prepare,” officers advised the Press Belief of India (PTI) information company.

Authorities closed off railway crossings alongside its path, and no-one was harm.
