SYDNEY: A “Flamin’ Sizzling” seasoning for Doritos and Cheetos snacks has sparked a office security grievance in Australia.
Staff on the Smith’s Snackfood Firm manufacturing facility in Adelaide, South Australia, say the spicy condiment is affecting their well being.
The seasoning is inflicting sneezing, coughing, eye and pores and skin irritation and even “problem respiratory”, stated a report by the United Staff Union.
A “seasoning machine” disperses the ingredient throughout the manufacturing facility each couple of weeks, the union stated in a grievance this month to the regulator, SafeWork SA.
The union stated it had interviewed 13 staff on one shift, 11 of whom reported unwell results.
