A barge collided with the Pelican Island Bridge in Galveston, Texas on Wednesday morning.
The collision resulted in a partial collapse and oil spill.
No accidents have been reported to this point.
It’s unclear what triggered the collision.

The Pelican Island Bridge is shut all the way down to site visitors after it was struck by a barge on Wednesday morning, officers say.
The bridge connects Pelican Island to Galveston, and Pelican Island is at the moment inaccessible by car.
Galveston officers say there have been no stories of accidents within the collision that occurred round 10 a.m.
SkyFOX video from the scene reveals that particles from the bridge, together with a bit of the railroad tracks, fell onto the barge.
Galveston officers say the collision resulted in an oil spill within the bay. The U.S. Coast Guard is responding to find out the extent of the spill and provoke the containment and cleanup course of.
