Bravo and thanks for printing Pamela Paul’s sober-minded and empathetic column “No, I don’t want to protest” [June 21, Opinion].
Having been a bus commuter trapped on Fourth Avenue at Westlake a number of instances for regardless of the protest du jour was, I can with certainty say that nobody on the bus grew to become endeared to the protesters’ causes.
Aggravated, sure. Sympathetic, no.
The protesters, as deliberate, at all times draw consideration from the media and, witlessly, the ire of us frequent people who simply need to get dwelling after an extended day.
That’s no method to win the overall populace over to your trigger.
If they have to, can’t they no less than muck up site visitors through the morning commute? It’d draw extra favorable consideration from these not precisely wanting to get to work!
