An NCAA investigation is reportedly underway involving an “unnamed” soccer program allegedly stealing footage from different groups.
The brewing scandal facilities round Catapult, a sports activities efficiency analytics firm that’s extensively used amongst faculty soccer groups. The Australian firm supplies software program used to check sport and apply footage shared between a group’s gamers and coaches.
Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports activities reported Friday that Catapult has confirmed the NCAA’s investigation into the “unauthorized entry” of group footage.
The report added that “a minimum of one faculty” is being implicated. Michigan, which has been investigated and penalized for alleged sign-stealing this season, is just not the college, per Wetzel.
